I'm an Indigenous gela CHamoru fundraiser, writer, and community organizer based in Tacoma, Washington.

I operate on the understanding that storytelling is inexorable from our human experience, and that the best stories are the ones that speak to our humanity. This is a perspective I attempt to embody in all of my work, whether drafting appeal copy for internationally lauded organizations or worldbuilding for the most innovative indie publishers in the region.
Currently, I’m most excited by projects that explore behavioral economics and choice architecture, especially in the philanthropic and creative industries.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me volunteering with the Association of Fundraising Professionals, mentoring emerging fundraisers, and supporting scaling nonprofits through my Board service.

The Strangest Thing in My Office: I have a ‘miniature chair museum’ in my house, featuring more than 200+ photographs, sculptures, and paintings of famous chairs.

My Proudest Accomplishment: I contributed to a restoration project of the Makunaima pittieri sp., wherein select Diamond Tetra populations were bred and monitored to improve overall species wellfare.
